Somali Pirates

Pirates like a thief who dared to face ourselves. Usually a thief to steal by stealth. But if pirates steal openly. Still exists in our memory of Somali pirates who robbed the ship of the "Sinar Kudus" with 20 people crew makes a valuable lesson for us all.

Somali pirates history was foreign to our ears. With businesses to rob, plunder their money away to family, to clan, to his pirates, and the rest buy new weapons and ships.

According to observations of the Somali citizen, named Mohamed, pirates divided into three parts, namely:

1. Pirates of the group of fishermen
They are former fishermen. Those who know more about the Gulf of Aden.

2. Pirates of former militia of the Somali civil war
They are the pirates as well as an advanced attack victims.

3. Pirates IT expert
Those who operate the sophisticated equipment at the same time that communications via satellite and weapons expert.

In the British study says piracy action causes loss of approximately 30 million U.S. dollars. This pirate action begins around the year 2007. According to Mohamed Abdulkadil (Garowe resident) said, "They do not consider themselves pirates. They consider themselves as the coast guard. Illegal fishing is here that change they became pirates. "

The important thing is we have to be careful especially when sailing through the Gulf of Aden region.
